The letters are finished!! I finally got to Hobby Lobby to get the paper for the letters and it is completed! I am very pleased with them and I think they are perfect for John's room. There is a great chance that everyone knows how to make these, but if you are looking for a simple, inexpensive project...this is it! It would be a perfect shower gift or bringing the baby home gift. The materials I used were:
wooden letters (1/2 off at Hobby Lobby...made them 1.50 each)
4 pages of scrapbooking paper (got these 3/1.00 at Hobby Lobby)
Modge Podge
foam brush
razor blade
newspaper (laid it underneath the letters while gluing)
My husband, the great! He was multitasking tonight...watching football and putting pictures in frames. We are no longer going to have empty walls!
This weekend was spent working on the nursery. Some of you may know this, others may not, but I am a maximizer of my time. When I am prego...it is in full swing. My poor husband sees a lot of tears because I just can't get done what I want to get done. It is so frustrating. Tonight, my tantrum was that I hate having to wait for him to do things for me...such as lifting heavy objects or climbing up onto things. I am glad there wasn't a video camera on because I am sure I looked like a fool. After hearing my tantrum, he quietly started hanging a curtain up. Afterwards, he asked, "Why don't we have some ice cream together?" He is a doll and for the last 6 months he has put up with some big emotional swings. I love, love, love him.

Those letters are adorable. Thanks for the tip! I will have to do that for our next kiddo!! Can't wait to see pics of the nursery!
Love the letters. The "N" is my favorite, with all of the letters mixed in.
I totally understand the multi tasking during prego mode. Doesn't it seem like the world is coming to an end or that is the way we act. As we need to get everything done before the baby gets here.
Have a fabulous day, we might get to thaw out this week, yahoo!
