Just got home from class and I need to be doing homework but instead I want to blog. I think my topic is John (what else is new?). Here are some things he has been doing that are so cute.
1. Waves bye bye to everyone and everything
2. Loves to turn on and off light switches
3. Loves to brush his teeth and when I say "Let's brush your teeth." he starts acting like he is doing it.
4. Meets me at the gate when he hears I am home from class.
5. Shakes his head no to everything.
6. Loves to get up in chairs...makes him feel big. He'll push you out of the chair if he thinks it is his.
7. Gets up into our dining room chairs and then onto the table.
8. Says "hot" to the oven and waves his hand.
9. Dances by stomping his feet
10. Says "baby", "horsie", "you stop" (even though i haven't heard that one but he said it to Jewell), "that"
11.Pulls down all of our DVDs
12. Is trying to figure out to climb up our book cases
13. Turns on and off the computer
14. When he hands you something he says "thank you"

Oh...once again...I love this little guy. I can't imagine what the next one will be like.

Pumpkin Patch Part 2

John finally came around to liking the pumpkins and he picked one out! It is now on our front porch.

The hit of the day...the TRACTOR! All the kids loved it. Here John is with some favorite friends.

A farmer in the making!

My two favorite guys...
We played so hard that day, that eveyone ended the day with a bottle of water. John is trying to drink and talk to Katie at the same time.

A wonderful day was had by all!

Pumpkin Patch Part 1

Went to the Big Red Barn Apple Orchard in Weston with friends...

but there were no apples. We looked high and low, but only found yucky ones...

They had LOTS of pumpkins but John wasn't a fan at first...

but he got in a better mood. We were thankful so we could get a family picture.

Here he is looking so big, holding his horseshoe.

Growing Up

Our little boy is Growing up. It is amazing all of the changes that we have been seeing. One thing that is not so good with the changes is the fit throwing. Our little boy has quite the temper (little red head). I must say that he does get it honestly from both his mom and dad. He does NOT like the word NO. I think he finally really knows what it means and it does not make him happy! However, he is so dog gone cute when he throws the fit. It takes everything Matt and I have to not just laugh. We usually turn our heads, fight the smiles and let him know it is not okay. We usually laugh about it once we have went to bed.
One of the neatest things that has happened in the last month is that he can communicate with us more. He points, shakes his head if he doesn't want something, tells us bye when he is ready to leave a room, drops food on the floor when he is finished, and other things. I love it! He also knows that the oven has hot things on it, so when he gets close to it, he shakes his hands and says "hot". So CUTE!

He loves trying to get in the rocking chair by himself. When he gets tired of trying, he looks over at us and points. We then know it is okay to lift him up and let him rock.

"I love playing ball. I can either do it by myself or with someone if they want to play with me!"

Standing and wondering what to get into next.

Tickling Mommy!
